Move any furniture that is on the terrazzo floor out of the way so you have no obstacles to clean around. Deep clean your terrazzo tile floor with natural stone cleaner or commercial terrazzo cleaner to prevent etching from alkaline or acidic cleaners.

Never use vinegar on terrazzo flooring since it has high acidity. Deep clean your terrazzo floors twice a year. Clear everything off of the terrazzo. Simply mix the stripper and apply it to the floor using a flat mop.

Sweep the floor to remove loose dirt crumbs and other debris. Avoid using acidic or alkaline cleaners or products. If there is other clutter like papers toys or containers move those out of the way too. Vinegar can lead to etching in the terrazzo floor surface.
